Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Chief Instructor for The Scout Association, based at Hawkhirst Scout Activity Centre - one of our five Centres across the UK.
The Chief Instructor will lead the team responsible for delivering programmes to the broad range of guests that visit the Centre from Scout, Youth, School and Corporate groups.
All staff will go through our comprehensive induction and basic training. In addition there are normally a number of opportunities to gain experience and training in additional activities as well as personal skills development.

Requirements
Applicants must hold at least 2 National Governing Body Qualifications from the following (BCU UKCC Level 2, RYA Senior Instructor, MLTE Mountain Leader, RYA Advanced Powerboat Instructor, MLTE SPA). You will also require experience of working in a management position within the outdoor education industry.
